Sponge Painting

For part of our Under the Sea theme, I wanted the kids to try working with paint in a different way than I'd ever done with them before, so I planned a lesson with sponge painting. The night before the activity, I cut about ten sponges into the shapes of fish, jellyfish and bubbles, and the next day I let the kids get their hands dirty as they played in the paint, making the coolest fish pictures.
